Is... is this a combustion engine? I can't believe this place can drag us here from all over the universe and yet you don't have astromechs and you still use combustion engines.

[ After the attack, Kanan suspects it's best to keep his questions mostly innocuous - at least to start. And if he asks them while helping pick things up, helping these Terrans pack up - all the better. He'll seem like one of them. He might earn their trust. Be more effective in helping them, the next time something like this happens.
Because he's sure something like this will happen again, it doesn't take long to figure out that this is a Thing That Happens.
